I am interested in your story because I was an atheist, I got saved I had the experiences you have abandoned. I was a Ph.D candidate in history of ideas and have masters in Theology, I wrote book on religious experience using a huge body of empirical work from psychology. I would really like to dialogue with you. Ideally I hope you will join my message board community. One of the few where well educated Christians, atheists, are friends and have great discussions. Google Doxa Forums. Visit my blog or drop me a lime. Joe.
